Helios were engaged to produce a fire safety strategy for a new glass production facility circa 23,000m2 with an additional 2,000m2 administration and office area in Baglan, South Wales. The project included detailed smoke modelling calculations to demonstrate tenability in relation to means of escape due to extended travel distances when taking in to account complex production line facilities.

SAFRAN Gloucester
Helios were engaged by SAFRAN to undertake both retrospective fire strategies for some of their existing buildings and to also undertake a detailed report for a new three storey office building at their Gloucester site. As part of these works a site orientation visit was undertaken and close discussions were had with the health and safety team to ensure the impact of the building works would not adversely affect the existing buildings whilst works are ongoing.

Llantarnam Industrial
Helios were engaged as the fire safety engineers for the development of three new commercial units in Llantarnam, Cwmbran. The fire safety strategy reports covered the shell and cores.
