Trenchard Lines
Helios has assisted in the delivery of the extensive refurbishment of existing military infrastructure in Upavon to support the capability of 2 Military Intelligence Battalions. The redevelopment covered the remodelling of existing facilities into Light Aid Detachment workshops, provision of new Quartermaster storage / offices and other works on site including the refurbishment of the Battalion headquarters / junior Ranks’ dining space, and a new extension to the armoury and ammunition store.
Helios work on a variety of MOD and private defence projects across the UK. Due to the sensitive nature of the work we cannot always disclose the projects that we work on however we have provided fire safety strategies and construction support for various building types including Single Living Accommodation, training facilities, offices, hangars, warehouses, laboratories and ammunition stores.
Project Cubit MOD Lyneham
This development consisted of the construction of three new SLA blocks including SNCO and Junior ranks accommodation; and additionally, the provision of a new technical facilities building for the teaching and development of Royal Engineers at MOD Lyneham, Wiltshire.
RNAS Culdrose
Helios have provided fire safety strategy reports for buildings at B-Site and D-Site to include a new training centre with teaching, training and administration facilities over two storeys and a new helicopter hangar.
